I used to worry about what is a good design, and how to make your design be trustful and valued, like my design could influent more people, it could make users’ life happier or someday it will become a big deal.

‍However, sometimes, caring more about the impact, the tech we use, or how rare my design is are not making it better. Because too much concerning the result, too much pressure. And the pressure will make me could not see what phenomenon/scene I am touched (good or bad).

In this process, I find SYSTEMIC DESIGN, DESIGN FOR SOCIAL INNOVATION, TRANSITION DESIGN. In each area, there are so many details I am concerning about and should learn. I believe they will make my design more researched and systematic.On top of that, I hope maybe this blog process and design could inspire readers and users to have a desire for future life, just like me:)Because there are so many designers are working on it, just like me, right?:)

As a designer, walking through finding and experiencing social problems to give citizens a better solution is always part of my blood.

I believe each person has a right to desire and co-design a better world. And as designers, we should speak up for them. It will be a wonderful opportunity to give my answer to these problems in the thesis class. Indeed, the followings are the 1st round of raw ideas I prepared for my thesis and design class.
1. Stolen life by phones
Everyone is focusing on the phone rather than real life

In the beginning, phones are designed to improve our life quality and shorten the distance to give convenience between you and “me”.

However, our life starts to be controlled by the small screen. We are focusing on so much news, media, and photo rather than the warm, vivid, and talking from a real person.Thus how to build a balanced life with technology is what I want to figure out.

2. Protect women from hidden cameras

Nowadays, there is an increasing number of news about candid cameras. Lots of women who live in the hotel and even go to the public restroom will be shot secretly.How to help women to protect their privacy and safe is also what I want the do next.
