Sharing cherished moments on social media is an integral part of an influencer's life. Unfortunately, they underestimate the risks of their private information being leaked, like their home address or bank information, when posting unassuming pictures on social media.

PrivateHood empowers users(especially influencers) to track their digital information from data breaches and fight against scammers. It is a powerful AI platform that uses facial recognition, machine learning and reverse image search technology to provide the highest protection for a user's private information 24/7. There is also a suite of tools and services to help manage a user's digital assets and provide legal support.

reflection

The whole journey of the thesis project is never easy. Painful self-doubt in the first half term to clear goals in the second half is mainly thanks to me starting to adjust the way I think. I started documenting every update, thought, and feedback I received. Then something magical happened, and everything started to light up in the right direction.

The following three points are what I will continue to adhere to in my future design path.
Non-stop research (even if I am not sure about the title)
Non-stop work-doubt (even if the topic has been identified)
Non-stop recording and reflection (even if there is no definite answer)

I used to worry about what is a good design, and how to make your design be trustful and valued, like my design could influent more people, it could make users’ life happier or someday it will become a big deal.

‍However, sometimes, caring more about the impact, the tech we use, or how rare my design is are not making it better. Because too much concerning the result, too much pressure. And the pressure will make me could not see what phenomenon/scene I am touched (good or bad).

In this process, I find SYSTEMIC DESIGN, DESIGN FOR SOCIAL INNOVATION, TRANSITION DESIGN. In each area, there are so many details I am concerning about and should learn. I believe they will make my design more researched and systematic.On top of that, I hope maybe this blog process and design could inspire readers and users to have a desire for future life, just like me:)Because there are so many designers are working on it, just like me, right?:)
